Thumbs UP! Way UP!

Did you see Disney/Pixars movie "UP"? Well if not you should check it out. But for Jonathan Trappe he saw it and got inspired. He tied a lot of balloons to a wicker chair-sans house and floated across the English Channel from the UK to France. Now he may not have gone as far or as high as Carl from UP but its a good first step I think.

Shia LaBeouf Blames Monkeys!

Everyone knows what a Big Fan I am of Indiana Jones and all of his Adventures. His movies his attractions at the Disney Parks and his hats. Well I liked the last Indiana Jones movie and I especially liked the fact that monkeys were in it.

But Shia LaBeouf (who played Indy's son (I think I would have done a better job) says that there were problems with the movie and he blames lots of people and the monkeys! Sir -I see that you also blame people in the Transformers movies as well (a movie I had just seen) but there were no monkeys to blame. So maybe the problem is you Sir and not the monkeys!

The Chimpcam Project

Well I know we monkeys have made movies - But apparently some chimps are going to start to get in the game.

"The Chimpcam Project" is a documentary shot by actual chimpanzees and it will premiere this week. Some researches made a "chimp proof" camera and gave to a bunch of chimps that both live in the wild and in the zoo.

Primetime Primates Evacuated

(I'm ready for my close up)

A week ago 2 movie star monkeys were evacuated from the Liberty Hotel in Boston, MA due to a small boiler a leak (that was fixed later in the day). All guests were evacuated from the hotel including 2 movie star monkeys.

The monkeys are starring in a movie called "The Zookeeper" that should be coming out sometime in 2010, but we don't know who they are! Sometimes the casting of these movies are so secret, but for those of you in Boston they are filing the movie there, so you can come by - and let me know if any of you guys hear or see anything about these monkey stars - I would love to interview them.

Liberty spokesman Jim Treadway said the hotel has hosted the movie's non-animal stars as well, but none were there Wednesday. He declined to drop names (including the names of the monkeys!).

First of all a Chimp's memoir is among contenders for Booker Prize. "Me Cheeta" is one of 13 novels on the Booker Prize long-list. Originally published anonymously, James Lever's book claims to tell the life story of the chimp who gained 1930s Hollywood stardom in "Tarzan" movies.

And a new Chimp study (yes another one) - Scientists have often wondered why the human language is so different from the chimp language. New research has analyzed some chimp brains and found out that something in evolution might have changed some things. They are not completely certain yet, but this is the first step in figuring out the reason for the exact difference in languages (since chimps and humans are so closely related).

INDY MOVIE!

The Call is from Adventure! Will you accept the Charges?!?

Okay....... so I went to the movies at midnight, like Indy told me, but he wasn't there. But his new movie was playing! I guess he wanted me to be one of the first monkeys to see it - and I sure did.

After getting some Skittles I prepared to see my first movie on the big screen. It was crowded, I didn't think this many people would be at a show so late - but I didn't see any other monkeys.

Everybody cheered when the movie began and ended... and also during some parts (but I won't say because I don't want to ruin it - Scroll down for some spoilers).

Okay - IT WAS THE BEST MOVIE EVER! Oh MY.... I don't' know what else to say - it was GREAT! You should see it! There was even a part in it where a bunch of Monkeys helped out! The monkeys were great.. I wonder if Indy put them in the movie for me?? I also got some great ideas on how I could get Mr. Shark to join team MoJo! He was excited when I told him about the movies and the big screen.. and tasting the rainbow (skittles).

I am so excited! Number one because its a message from Indiana Jones - My Hero , and two I have never been to the movies. At midnight? I wonder what he wants, I wonder what I should bring... I wonder if I am going to go on an adventure with him? Or maybe he has some ideas about my battle with FRRRRED! I will let you know!
